  • Dr. John Charos, CVA president and CEO, is featured in New York Vet. The film was shown at the Metropolitan Film Festival of New York. The event was covered by The Queens Chronicle, and The Valley Stream Herald.
  • In June, Gershow Recycling sponsored Christmas in June. The event, held in conjunction with the Patchogue Lions Club, was covered by News12, and The Long Island Business News. Gershow Recycling also held a Can Tab for Kids event, which was covered by American Recycler.
  • In April, News12 covered the Grand Opening of the 46th season of the Long Island Game Farm. News 12 also featured the Game Farm as part of its 12 Weeks of Summer, and The East End Segments. Emma Hallowell of the Long Island Game Farm appeared on TV55’s "Exit 10/55"to discuss the paintings created by the Game Farm’s lemurs

  • Ben's Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant and Caterers'summer BBQ catering special was highlighted on WCBS Radio's Dining Diary. Ben's was also named "Best Deli" in The Queens Courier's Best of the Boro poll.
