Purim is a festive Jewish holiday that celebrates the deliverance of the Jews from their enemies as told in the Biblical book of Esther. In the story, Haman, an advisor to King Ahasuerus of Persia, planned to exterminate all of the Jews in the land. Esther’s cousin Mordecai persuaded her to speak to the king and tell him of Haman’s plan. She did so and when the king learned of Haman’s evil plan, he saw to it that the Jewish people were saved and had Haman — along with his 10 sons — executed.
Tickets are $17.99 per person for those under 21 who purchase the tickets by March 2, $19.99 at the door. For those 21 and over, tickets are $31.99 per person until March 2, $35.99 at the door. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Tzedakah, a charitable organization. Complete dinner packages are available for an additional $19.99 per person.
