Central Veterinary Associates Cares for 28 Chicks Found Abandoned at Local Pet Store

What: Central Veterinary Associates is caring for 28 baby chicks that were found abandoned at Petland Discounts in Hempstead. Two employees saw the chicks at the pet store and delivered them to Central Veterinary Associates.
The chicks are currently under the care of CVA’s staff. They will be vetted and kept under observation at the animal hospital. Once they are determined to be healthy, CVA will attempt to find them a home.
