Central Veterinary Associates Provides Low-Cost Microchipping Clinic at Mineola Street Fair
VALLEY STREAM, NY — As part of a community service, Central Veterinary Associates provided low-cost microchipping services for visiting dog owners at the Mineola Street Fair, which took place on September 14. For a nominal fee, the veterinarians at CVA provided pets with a Home Again microchip, which ensures pet health and safety so that they can be found if they run away or are taken by a stranger.
The money raised from the event went to benefit the New York City Veterinary Emergency Response Team. Having a pet microchipped is a successful step in responsible pet ownership.
Those who visited the CVA’s vendor’s table were able to ask the staff about their pets’ health and address any concerns they may have regarding their pet. They also received visitors’ coupons for free visits and pet-friendly giveaways throughout the event. In addition, there were vendors, live music and entertainment.
