Crasche New York Introduces the New “3” TYPE Workplace Protective Hat

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

WOODBURY, NY — Crasche® New York announces the introduction of its latest product, the “3” TYPE protective hat. The product is ideal for workmen who do not wear workplace head protection, but should.

The “3” TYPE hat is comprised of super-lightweight cotton-like acrylic fabric. The outer layer of the inserts is composed of an extremely strong polycarbonate plastic — the same material used to make bulletproof glass. The inner layers are made of neoprene rubber. It looks and fits just like a ski hat.

Wearing a “3” TYPE hat will help reduce the impact in workplace-related head injuries, especially in the construction industry. Research shows that construction has the highest incidences of workplace-related head injuries. The protective hat has been purchased for employees by JetBlue, Pratt & Whitney and a major American airplane manufacturer.

“For those who work in an industrial setting and do not wear a hard hat, or when the hard hat is impractical, the ‘3’ TYPE is the best solution to helping prevent head injuries while on the job,” said Robert Cleva, the Owner of Crasche New York. “While it does not replace a hardhat, the ‘3’ TYPE offers a lot more head protection than a bump cap.”

The “3” TYPE is made in Long Island, New York and can be purchased only at for the price of $28.95.
