Suffolk Center, nestled alongside the homes on Schoenfeld Boulevard in Patchogue, celebrated the opening of its new, technologically advanced Rehab Suite with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the facility on Thursday, October 19. The center is the first in the area to feature the OMNI Virtual Reality rehab device.

“We are extremely excited about our new Rehab Suite, the OMNI device and our Telemedicine ‘Robot’ – which is the first of its kind in Suffolk County and provides 24/7 doctor care and reduces hospitalizations,” says Mary Desmond, Director of Admissions/Marketing at Suffolk Center. “We have the best equipment to make sure every person staying here has the best care. And, more than the equipment and a very professional and caring staff, who provide outstanding care to our residents, to ensure that everyone gets home in a quick and safe manner.”
