Moriches Paquatuck Squaws to Host Inlet Ride Bike-A-Thon

The Moriches Paquatuck Squaws is inviting everyone to participate in the group’s Inlet Ride Bike-A-Thon for the benefit of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck.

Starting at 8 a.m., bicyclists will enjoy a 28-mile ride along Dune Road from the Moriches Inlet at Cupsogue Beach to the Shinnecock Inlet in Hampton Bays and back. Refreshments will be provided along the way and prizes will be awarded to the top three riders who bring in the most donations. All of the funds raised will benefit the special-needs children of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Those who wish to start their own fundraising page can go to

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a resident summer camp designed for young people ages 6-21 with special needs. Its mission is to help children and young adults achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education in a summertime environment, even offering an alumni week for campers who have aged out. Throughout the program, campers participate in typical summer camp activities, such as arts and crafts, talent shows, cook-outs, swimming and boating.
