Take Dad to the Long Island Game Farm This Father’s Day Weekend!
All Fathers Receive Free Admission, Coupon for One Free Popcorn
MANORVILLE, N.Y. -- Instead of getting him another tie or bottle of aftershave this Father’s Day, take Dad to the Long Island Game Farm Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo (http://longislandgamefarm.com/). The Game Farm is an ideal destination for this Father’s Day weekend as he will have the chance to take in some unique animal encounters and watch a live dog show.
On June 20 and 21, all dads who come to the Game Farm will receive free admission with the purchase of one paid admission and a coupon for a free popcorn. (No additional discounts or coupons are available with this offer.)
As always, the Game Farm will have its petting zoo and exotic animals on display, including giraffes, lemurs, zebras, buffalos, cougars and — for the first time at the Game Farm — alpacas. In addition, families can bring Dad to the Discovery Center and meet this year’s newest attraction, Cheesecake, a nine-foot-long Burmese python, and check out the Priceless Parrot Preserve. Fathers can also catch this year’s exciting summer show, The One and Only Pekingese Dog Act featuring Vanna the Baboon–presented by David Rosaire. Show times are at noon and 3 p.m.
For more excitement, Dad can learn more about lemurs at the Leapin’ Lemur Tour and see five different types of lemurs, including the Common Brown Lemurs. Then he can visit the Camel Encounter, where, for $5, he can interact with and hand-feed the Game Farm’s camels, Sandy and Sahara.
“There is no better place to spend Father’s Day weekend with your Dad than here at the Game Farm,” said Melinda Novak, Vice President/Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “With the different animal exhibits, unique animal encounters and our world-renowned dog show at the main stage, there are so many things for everyone’s father to do and see. It will be a Father’s Day he will not soon forget.”
