Frederick Brewington, a prominent civil rights attorney, has endorsed Brad Schwartz for New York State Senate.
Mr. Schwartz is running in the June 25 Democratic primary for New York’s 7th Senate District, which covers north Nassau County in Long Island.
“Brad possesses the sincerity and strength of purpose to fight racism, discrimination and structural inequality across Long Island and New York State,” Mr. Brewington said. “I strongly support his candidacy for New York State Senate. Brad is committed to advocating for laws and policies that eliminate racial disparities and that help promote awareness for how structural racism impacts communities and inequitable outcomes in the justice system, public education, housing and community development. With his public policy credentials and dedication to civil rights, he is the most qualified candidate to stand up for minority communities.”
“I am beyond honored to receive Mr. Brewington’s endorsement,” Mr. Schwartz said. “He is a personal hero whose renowned leadership and achievements in civil rights are unparalleled on Long Island and New York.”
