On January 21, the Medford Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening of Mark Medical Care, located at 2775 Route 112, Suite B in Medford. This is Mark Medical Care’s sixth location. Other locations include Deer Park, Freeport, Woodside, Ridgewood and Washington Heights.

Mark Medical Care provides noninvasive treatment for varicose veins, circulatory issues, leg sores and uterine fibroids. Other services include lymphatic drainage treatments, facial rejuvenation, acne treatment, cellulite treatment and laser hair removal.

Dr. Ron Mark, Owner, Mark Medical Care, opened his first location in Ridgewood in 2012 and the Medford location on January 3, 2023. He said he came up with the idea for the center as a way to reduce the traumatic effects a patient feels during a doctor’s visit. The center was designed with pleasing aural, sensory and visual aesthetics to help reduce the patient’s trauma during the visit; as a result, there is no need for anesthesia and the recovery time is greatly reduced.

Dr. Mark said that many of their patients they service are Hispanic. The new Medford location will continue to serve the Hispanic population, as well as those from other backgrounds.
