The Village of Islandia celebrated its 19th Annual BBQ on July 20, attracting a record-breaking 1,000 residents to Memorial Recreational Field. This event was the biggest and most successful in the village’s history, with an impressive turnout.
Village employees and local Boy Scouts served delicious food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, soda, and water. The BBQ featured an exciting lineup of activities for children, such as hay rides, games, music, dancing, pony rides, a petting zoo, a water slide, and the blueberry pie eating contest.
The event brought the community together for a day filled with food, fun, and family activities.
The community’s participation and enthusiasm were instrumental in making the day memorable.
