After Four Years, Family Farm Reopens Just in Time to Celebrate the Easter Season

Announces New Name to Reflect Expansion of Its Business

MANORVILLE, NEW YORK — After four years, Cassidy Hill Farm has reopened just in time for the Easter season and is kicking off its reopening with the Easter Egg Hunt on March 30, starting at 11:30 a.m. Cassidy Hill Farm is located at 30 North Street in Manorville.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny for the children, as well as music and games and a place to visit the animals. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view and admire the daffodils and other flowers already in bloom as part of the farm’s Daffodil Festival. Lunch will be served, courtesy of Boxcar Burgers.

Tickets are $20, with a portion of the proceeds going to support Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Manorville. Those who attend are asked to bring nonperishable food items and make a nominal financial donation in support of the church’s food pantry.

In addition, the farm has announced that it is changing its name to Cassidy Hill Ventures LLC. The name will reflect on its other services it offers such as agricultural education, farming, leasing of ponies, use of stallions for outbreeding, boarding and riding of horses. Cassidy Hill can also be used as a wedding and event venue.

Dr. Bernadette Pupilla says the COVID lockdown in 2020 hurt business, but was later kept closed due to false allegations made to the Brookhaven Town.

Dr. Pupilla says, thanks to the support of the community, Cassidy Hill has reopened. “I would like to welcome back everyone to our family-friendly farm,” she says. “Our Easter Egg Hunt will be a great time for children and adults alike.”
