Once again, Newton Shows is partnering with the Merrick Chamber of Commerce to present the 32nd Annual Fall Festival at the Merrick Train Station from Friday to Sunday, October 20-22.
“We host the festival to bring the community together,” says Ira Reiter, President, Merrick Chamber of Commerce and Chairman, Fall Festival. “Our downtown is very involved with it as well as Nassau County and The Town of Hempstead. We also try to raise funds as a chamber for our holiday lighting program.”
The complete dates and times for the event are as follows:
- Friday, October 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, October 21 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, October 22 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The 32nd Fall Festival will feature a variety of rides guaranteed to deliver thrills, chills and excitement to the entire family. There will also be games, live entertainment, delicious food and children’s magic shows on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, the festival will feature a business expo with an expected 200 vendors. “Times have been tough for some of these businesses, so we use the festival as a way for them to connect with the community,” says Mr. Reiter.
The 32nd Annual Fall Festival will be held at the Merrick Train Station, located at 1811 Sunrise Highway in Merrick. Parking and admission are free.
Advance tickets, including pay-one-price bracelets, can be purchased at newtonshows.com.
